A prior reservation is required to do the activity

1- For balloon trips with a fixed date, you can pay the full amount or a 50% deposit of the total booking amount via POS terminal (credit or debit card) at the time of booking. The remainder is due on the day of the flight, either by card or cash.
2- For open-date gift vouchers, 100% payment will be made entirely by POS terminal (credit or debit card) at the time of booking.

How to give a gift?

Advance booking is required.

The minimum age is 5 years old and it is not permitted for pregnant women.

You must be very punctual at the starting point.

The activity is weather dependent. Final confirmation is provided 48 hours prior to the flight. The activity is subject to local weather conditions and any unforeseen changes.

The gift voucher is non-refundable; you have 24 months to redeem it.

Once redeemed:
The client may request a change of date/time to their booking up to 7 days before the excursion date. The change will be subject to availability.

– Occasionally, weather conditions make it impossible to carry out the balloon flight. In this case, it will be rescheduled for another date at no additional cost.

 

Canceling a reservation with a specific date may result in a partial refund, depending on when the cancellation occurs.
– Up to 2 weeks: 50% refund.
– Up to the last 72 hours: 25% refund.
– During the last 72 hours: No refund.

The client may request a change of date/time to their booking up to 7 days before the excursion date. The change will be subject to availability.

– Occasionally, weather conditions make it impossible to carry out the balloon flight. In this case, the client can request to change the activity to another date if there is availability or request a full refund.

The activity is operated by a licensed pilot and certified equipment in accordance with current aeronautical regulations.

Before each departure, a complete inspection of the balloon and technical equipment is carried out to ensure maximum safety conditions.

It is mandatory to follow the instructions of the pilot and the support team at all times. Failure to comply with these instructions may result in the termination of the activity without compensation.

Participation in the activity is not permitted under the influence of alcohol or substances that may affect safety.

The client acknowledges that hot air ballooning is an aerial activity which, like any activity in the natural environment, involves inherent risks. The company has the required insurance coverage:

  • Accident insurance
  • Assistance and rescue coverage

Globus Empordà reserves the right to refuse participation if the client does not present adequate physical conditions or maintains an attitude that may compromise the safety of the group.
